INSECTICIDES
Insecticides are the chemicals that are used to destroy a variety of bugs and worms in the farm crops, in gardens, or at home. Similarly, the chemicals used to control mites (Acarina) are called as Acaricides or Miticides, and the chemicals used to control rodents are called as Rodenticides. Insecticides are claimed to be a major factor behind the increase in the 20th-century's agricultural productivity.
